In House Shows

Bridges Equestrian is proud to offer several in-house shows each year. These shows are a great way to get some show experience while still being in a low-key, positive environment. They are fun for all ages and every effort is made to make sure that students have a great time and learn a lot!

Divisions

Walk-Trot – Riders ride at the walk and trot in a group. They will also complete a course of poles on the ground in the “over fences” classes.

Crossrails – Riders ride at the walk and trot in a group and then canter individually. They will also complete a course of 12″ crossrails. The course can be ridden at the trot or canter at the discretion of the trainer.

Short/Long Stirrup – Riders ride at the walk, trot and canter in a group. They will also complete a course of 18″ verticals. The course should be ridden at the canter.

Attire

For in-house shows, riders should wear a Bridges Collared Shirt or Bridges Green Team Shirt tucked in with a belt (if you have belt loops!). Breeches of any color are acceptable. Tall or short boots with or without leggings and hair tied back or up neatly under a helmet will complete the outfit.
